Christmas 2011

What a wonderful Christmas we had at the Romney home......Well I take that back, What a wonderful Christmas we had at the Crittenden/Romney home. This Christmas was a little different this year. We celebrated Christmas eve with my family, and Christmas day with Taylor's family. It's nice having both of our families so close by, it really does make holidays a little more easier on us.
On Christmas eve all of my mom's kids and son in laws spent the night at her house. as the kids went to bed my parents, Kylie and Chris, Taylor and I stayed up and helped stuff the stockings, put some presents out and prepared for tomorrows big Christmas breakfast. After all of that was done we stayed up and played Pass the Popcorn for awhile, then we all went to sleep before Santa came.
We all woke up around 8:30 Christmas morning to see that Santa came to the Crittenden home!!! From what I can remember Kylie got a Nook, Chris got a bike stand, Taylor got a camera bag, I got a wedding book made by my husband, Paige got a Brad Paisley cd, Tyra got furry boots and Kreed got some games for the Wii. Our dad also surprised everyone with a home made ping pong table!!! Yeah he actually made the table I couldn't believe how amazing it looked.
It was so nice to be with my family for as long as we were. After we got done with doing things with them we went over to the Romney's house and opened presents with them. It's funny how different our families really are. I'm pretty sure Taylor's family received more political books or presidential books than I can count hahaha. But that's what they love and I love that about them.
We got to Skype Taylor's brother who is serving his mission in California that day. It was so nice that we were able to see and hear him at the same time.
I love my family so much, I can't believe how fast this Christmas has come and gone and now a new year is among us, I have so much new years resolution that I want to work on for this new year, It's going to be a challenge but I'm always up for new challenges. Thank you everyone who made this Christmas an amazing one. We love and appreciate everyone who dropped by a gift or who sent us a card. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

After church we went and took family pictures, can I also add that our family takes forever to take a jumping picture hahaha we can't figure out that on 3 we all are supposed to jump hahaha I love my family.
After family pictures everyone came back to my house and Taylor made his world famous sweet and sour chicken and rice. Everyone loved it My man is such a good cook. Kylie brought dessert it was called how high apple pie i think? It was amazing!!! After food dad opened his presents mom and the kids gave him a piggy bank, a tie and orange sticks. Kylie and Chris gave him a roll of quarters, a John Bytheway cd and some more orange sticks. Taylor and I got him some new slippers and tons of Millhollow coupons.
I think he had a very happy birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! Your family loves you so much. We wouldn't be who we are today if it wasn't for you and mom. You two are so special to us and we want nothing more than to make you both proud. I love you dad happy birthday.

Rewind......

Okay so I have been slacking in the blogging lately and I really need to do better with that, so lets see how well I can keep up with blogging from here on out.
My cousin Staci was Married last Friday to her husband Jared and we are so happy for those two!!! She had a beautiful wedding, I cried more at hers than I did at my own. Her theme was a "Winter Wonderland" It was so beautiful, her colors were dark blue, white and silver. They had trees with twinkling lights up with snow around them, It's really hard to describe I will post pictures soon so everyone can see how amazing it was.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went to my Grandma and Grandpa Atkinsons famous Thanksgiving dinner. I've never left their house disappointed, my Grandma always makes the best of everything. My favorite part about going to my grandmas house for Thanksgiving dinner is she makes me my own little personal pumpkin pie!!! My grandma is so special to me, she has made my pumpkin pie for me ever since I can remember, It always makes me feel so special and loved whenever she does that for me because she only does it for me, no one else.
Taylor is just finishing up school and I'm so ready for the break. I feel like I never see him because he is always in the "Man Cave" doing his homework and I'm ready for some date nights and our special movie nights with popcorn and smoothies. SIGH! I know me time is always good to have but I feel like I've had way to much me time, I'm ready for some we time.
We are so excited for Christmas I can't wait for Taylor to open the presents I got for him. I noticed a present under the tree with my name on it and I am dying to see what it is. I love Christmas!!! The music, smells, food, presents, being with family, snow....... Oh wait that hasn't happened yet hopefully soon. I really am not a snow person but it is freezing in Rexburg and I personally think that if it's going to be this cold then it might as well snow. We get to spend Christmas with Taylor's parents this year and I am so excited!!! His brother Logan who is in California on his mission gets to call us so that will be really exciting to be able to hear from him.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas this year and a happy new year. I have a lot I want to do so hopefully everything will work out just fine.

Happy Birthday To The Worlds Most Amazing Husband!

Taylor is 23!!! I can't believe how fast the time really goes. Taylor's birthday was yesterday 11/11/11 how cool is that? He thought because it was 11/11/11 that something bad was going to happen but it ended up being a great day. He woke up went to work, then school. I let him open his presents when I got home, he got a alarm clock, socks, a new wallet, and a nice fury jacket. I was really proud of the things I got him he seemed to be very happy about all of the presents so that's good for me. Then after he was all done with that his sisters and I took him to Wingers for dinner. After I let him pick a movie to watch later that night and when we got home he was surprised by all his friends that love him so much. I love that boy so much, I can't believe he's 23 the first time I met him I was 16 and he was 18 I need to keep up on how fast things are really going. Now we are on to bigger and brighter things we will have a baby soon, ( Keep your fingers crossed ) And Taylor will figure out what he would like to do for the rest of his life, wish him luck!

Hoping And Praying.

Two months have already gone by and Taylor and I are ready to try to have a baby again. I am so excited! I want to get pregnant so badly I've been praying to the Lord every night that we will be blessed with a strong and healthy baby. I am so ready to be a mom and I know that Taylor is ready to be a dad. I see him with our nursery kids and it just makes me so happy. The kids just love him, he just eats up all the attention he gets from the kids and every time they see him they just get so excited that they get to play with him.
I hope things will work out for us, I want nothing more than to raise a child. I love my husband so much we are ready to be parents I know we will have one soon.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Halloween. It's my most hated holiday in the world, but every year I always seem to have a wonderful time. This year Taylor had to work from 10 in the morning to 11 at night so I was kinda bumbed because I was going to be all alone on Halloween. I called my best friend Valerie up and we decided that we were going to have a girls night. We went and ate AMAZING!!! soup at my grandma Atkinson's house and got to see the cousins in their costumes.
After that we went to Valerie's house and got to talk to her parents and see her brothers before they left to go do their own thing for Halloween. Then we decided that we wanted to watch a movie, we looked to see what was playing at the movie theater and there was nothing that really interested us, so we went to Crazy Mikes and rented The Green Lantern.
We came to my house to watch it and to our surprise there was balloons tied to my door with two cute little pumpkins full of my favorite chocolate!!! Of course I knew they were from my amazing neighbors, THANKS COREY AND DAYMI!!! After we ate some chocolate we put the movie in and right away we knew that the movie was going to suck, and guess what??? it did hahaha yeah The Green Lantern is not a movie to buy, so don't waste your money.
Like I've said before Halloween is not my favorite holiday but every year I always have a great time. Thank you Valerie for spending Halloween with me, I had such a great time and I love that we can do anything together and we can always leave with a smile. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!

MARRIED FOR A YEAR!!!

How awesome is this Taylor and I have been married for one whole year!!! Taylor and I had an amazing day. We woke up this morning and got an hour couples massage at the day spa that I work at and it was amazing!!! Taylor was so nervous about getting one but he ended up really liking it. After that we went paintballing with our friends which was so much fun I got shot in the face mask and really hard in the shoulder which gave me a welt by the way.
After playing paintball for a few hours we went home got all prettied up and went to dinner at Texas Road House. They treated us very well we got to take home to baskets of rolls with cinnamon butter, and they also gave us a free pate of ribs, I think the waitress did that because I ordered the ribs at first but then I didn't want them so I ordered steak instead so I think she just wanted to show me what I was going to be missing out on hahaha.
Then Taylor took me to Fat Cats and we got to see Real Steel which was so so so AMAZING!!! I loved that movie I was yelling in my head because it's a really intense movie but I loved it. After the movie we went home and I came home to my bedroom all lit with candles it was so romantic!!! HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TAYLOR I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

I'm So Blessed

I love general conference weekend! It's a relaxing day where me and my husband can stay home and listen to the wonderful men that happily serve our lord and really strive to understand what they are saying and how to take it in and try to be the people they want us to be. It's been a rough week but also a happy week for my husband and I, we found out we were pregnant on September 19th and then found out that we lost the baby on September 28th. I find this experience such a hard trial but a wonderful blessing. Everybody keeps telling us that we need to be happy and move on, It's so hard to be happy and move on when you thought you were going to have something that would last forever but it ended before it even started.
As time goes by we feel more comfort and peace that the lord wants Taylor and I to have a baby but he wants us to be more prepared for the next little baby to come. We keep telling ourselves that we were prepared for this baby that we lost, but in all reality we weren't. Now that we are both on the same page, we now know that all we need to do to get pregnant is to make sure I get a shot because Taylor and I are different blood types, we also know that our insurance wouldn't have covered us under maternity so that's something that we need to get before we try again.
I'm sad that we lost our baby but I'm at peace. I know that the lord has a little baby spirit waiting for us in heaven and I know that it want's to be here with me and Taylor. I really don't know how I would've gotten over this if it weren't for my wonderful husband, friends and family. I know everything is going to be okay, I know that I will have a baby soon and I know that I will have an eternal family and we will be together forever.
"Though our knowledge of the plan of salvation does not explain why miscarriages and stillbirths take place, nor what the eternal result will be, we can know with confidence that God, who is the father of all spirits, is merciful and just. We can know also that there is hope. Worthy parents can trust in him and know that they and all his spirit children will—one way or another—receive a just reward for their efforts and sacrifice, perhaps in ways that we do not presently comprehend." (Val D. Greenwood, manager of special services, Temple Department, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. )
Thank you Daymi for all your love and support I appreciate everything that you said and I'm so grateful for you and your wonderful family. We love you and thank you.

A Blessing in Disguise

Today has been a very emotional day, Taylor and I lost our baby today and I am not handling it very well. I'm very sad, I was so excited that Taylor and I were going to have a sweet little baby in our home, but even though we are struggling with the fact that we are no longer pregnant I look at this as a blessing. We figured out today that our insurance doesn't even cover any maternity at all so that would've been a problem if anything happened to me or the baby. We know now that we are able to conceive a child so we can always try again. And I know that I have another little baby waiting in heaven for me and Taylor and I want nothing more than to bring that little baby here with it's family and to raise it in the gospel as the Lord intended us to. I am not mad at the Lord in anyway, in fact I am very grateful to him for allowing me to have that little baby inside me for as long as it was. I keep thinking how my sister wanted to have a baby but it just never happened but she had strong faith to keep trying and she knew that she was going to be a mother some day. Now look at her, she is 11 weeks pregnant and I am so excited for her and Chris, I'm glad that she still has her baby and that I can be it's aunt. Baby Romney your daddy and I love you so much and we already miss you, please help us to make it through this and to be able to have another special little baby. I'm going to miss being pregnant. But this is not the end, it's only the beginning. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU BABY ROMNEY!

Amazing Weekend With My Amazing Friends And Husband

Taylor goes back to school in like 2 days so we got all our friends together and decided that we were going away for the weekend to our friend Cade's cabin to go boating, we had an amazing time. When we first got to the cabin it was 7 o'clock and they had pizza waiting for us which was very nice because I was starving! but when we got their I noticed a ring on Cade's girl friends finger.......CADE IS ENGAGED!!! We are so excited for him and Rachel. After we celebrated with them we all played a getting to know you game because we had some new faces in our group but it was so much fun and hilarious if I might add.
The next day we all woke up and had an amazing breakfast that the wonderful men made for us lovely ladies, then after we cleaned up the cabin and headed out to the lake!!! We rode and the boat, tubed, jet skied, the boys waked board and Taylor and I got an amazing sun burn. I am not excited for Taylor to go back to school but I know he has to. We had an amazing weekend  I don't want summer to end but I have a feeling that there will be some amazing things that will happen this fall/winter.

One Sleepless Night

It's 2:00 in the morning and my mind is just going crazy!!! I have so much going through my head I feel like the only way I can get it out is if I write about it. Taylor and I just found out today that we are going to be an uncle and aunt. That's right Kylie is pregnant, I can't believe my older sister is going to be a mommy I'm so happy for her and Chris but then I'm really sad. Don't get me wrong I am so happy and excited for my sister and her husband because they have been trying for a while to get pregnant, I'm just having a hard time coping with the news because I want to have a baby so badly. I feel like my marriage with Taylor has been so amazing! I wouldn't change anything that we've done together, but there is something missing. I always said that I wanted to wait 2 years before we started trying to have a baby but I feel like it's whats missing in our home.
I know Taylor is a little nervous about having a baby I don't blame him, a baby is a HUGE decision it's going to take a lot of work, baby's are expensive, Taylor is still in school, I know we are both going to loose a lot of sleep and time with one another, and lets face it will I really be the mom I think I'm going to be? And will Taylor be the father I hope he'll be? Right now I really don't know what kind of mom I will be, and I don't know what kind of dad Taylor is going to be, all I know is I'm ready to bring a child into this world and to raise it the way Heavenly Father intended Taylor and I to raise his children. I know the risk of everything I'm saying but every time I think about what my children are going to be like or look like I get the strongest feeling that it's time.
I have a strong testimony about eternal families. I look not only at my own wonderful family but at my husbands family and I thank the Lord that we have them here on this Earth with us today. If it weren't for our families Taylor and I wouldn't be where we are today. I know that I can be with my family forever, not just on Earth but in heaven as well. I'm going to be praying with all my might that the Lord blesses Taylor and I with a child of our own. I will be as patient as I can and do whatever my husband and the Lord wants me to do. I guess that's really all I can do for right now. I love my husband so much he is the light of my life I don't know what I would do if I ever lost him. I know I say that in all my posts but it's true I married the best man ever and I know that we will be together forever not just as husband and wife but as a family.

                                                                    I LOVE YOU TAYLOR!!!

Day 7/8 of our California trip

Today is our last day here in Anaheim California Taylor and I are super sad but we are also excited to come back to Idaho. Our last day we spent it in Disneyland. Today was extremely hot so it was really hard on the both of us to walk around and wait in lines all day, but we made it. We made sure to keep a lot of water on us just in case. We bought some ice cream because it was so hot but right as we started eating it, it started to melt hahaha. We got to ride basically every ride today which was nice because it was our last day. My favorite rides were Tower of Terror and the Toy Story Mania.
It's such a happy day but then it's such a sad day we came home form California today :-( We are super sad but it's time to get back to reality. We came home around 5:30 and went to our brother in laws birthday party. We got some surprising news KYLIE AND CHRIS ARE PREGNANT!!! We are so excited for them I can't believe I'm going to be an aunt. It will be so fun to have a baby around that I can spoil.

Day 6 of our California trip

Today Taylor and I spent the day in Down Town Disney. We had lunch at this amazing pizza place the sat us outside so while we waited for our food we feed bread sticks to the birds. I know that sounds so weird but I though it was fun they came swarming all over the place poor little babies haha. After our stay in Down Town Disney we went to Medieval Times Dinner Theater it was so cool! We had the red and yellow knight he also kissed and threw a flower to me AHHH super romantic I know hahaha but as the tournament began our knight ended up being the first one to die. PATHETIC!!! But all in all we had a fun day. After we came home and decided to go night swimming it was so nice because it was so hot so it was nice to be cooled off.

Day 5 of our California trip

We spent another beautiful day in Disneyland! I love it here if I could I would live here as long as I can. Today wasn't as busy as the other days have been. The lines were nice and short so we got to ride a lot more rides so that was super nice. Today was also nice because we got to go souvenir shopping!!! Taylor bought him a picture frame which is very nice, I bought a little stuffed goofy for my future babies it's super cute I'll have to post a picture of it. We also bought Tyra and Paige cute sock from Little Mixes Match they don't match at all but they are so cute and my sisters are crazy so they look even better on them. We bought 2 caramel apples for Chris and Kylie and My parents apparently they were super good so I was happy to hear that they were put to good use. The last thing we bought was a box of chocolate pretzels for Taylor's parents and siblings. California is amazing I don't want it to end.

Day 4 of our California trip

Today we spent the entire day in Universal Studios it was so much fun. It was my first time being there so it was way different than Disneyland but I loved it. We basically rode every ride that was their and went on the Studio Tour which was amazing!!! On the tour we saw King Kong in 3D I really wish it was a ride it was so much fun because it felt so real like you were actually their with dinosaurs and King Kong himself. SUPER COOL!!!

Day 3 of our California trip

Today Taylor and I spent the whole day in California Adventure, we had a blast just being together. We rode the Tower of Terror 3 times in a row because the lines we so short which was very very nice. I wanted to go see the Aladdin show so badly but Taylor thought he was to manly to see Aladdin so I finally got him to go in and watch it with me and he ended up loving it!!! I was so happy that he liked it the Genie mad him laugh so hard.
I also won a coin to play a video game at Flynn's Video Games from the movie Tron but I didn't want to use it because I never win anything so I wanted to keep it so I'll always remember my special coin. At the end of the day we wanted to go buy a slushy  so we went to a Seven 11 gas station, well the place smelled so bad I couldn't stand being in the room so we had to leave because I was this close to vomiting!!! Pretty gross I know.

Day 2 of our California trip

Today was our first day in Disneyland!!! Taylor and I spent the entire day there and we just had a ball. It was super, super busy so the lines were so long it was hard to stand in line forever. My feet were killing me by the end of the day, Taylor was having his own problems but he's a tough boy he can handle anything. We decided to start off easy with Alice In Wonderland & It's A Small World (will only ride that once!) and then moved on to the big rides like Indiana Jones and Star Tours.  Star Tours was awesome because it's a simulator and it's 3D!  When we got into our spaceship and got started, Darth Vader stopped the ship and said he's looking for a spy.  Then a picture popped up on a screen to show who it was and guess who showed up?  Me!  We got a big laugh out of that because we had no idea that was going to happen. Once it started getting dark we stayed and watched World of Color. It was an amazing show it makes me want to be a Disney princess really badly. After the show we went to the Rain Forrest Cafe and ate dinner. I love being here with just Taylor it's really nice just getting away from life and being with the man I love.

Day 1 of our stay in California

Today was the day that Taylor and I left for CALIFORNIA!!! Well actually we left for California on Sunday August 21, 2011 I really need to keep up with our blog even though I'm the only one that reads these post I still want to remember everything that went on while we were gone. Well Taylor and I were so ready to get out of Rexburg for a while and just be alone, just me and Tay no one else or anything to worry about. We flew out of Idaho Falls around 11:45 and landed in Long Beach around 2:30 it was my first time flying so I was kinda nervous but Taylor just held my hand through it all and I ended up really liking it.
When we finally got to our hotel Taylor was ready to hit the streets of Anaheim, me on the other wanted to take a long hot shower and actually get ready for the day. Once I was ready to go we went to dinner at Bubba Gumps. It was so much fun, I've only seen Forrest Gump once so being there and actually knowing what everything meant that was around me was so exciting. Our waitress even came to us and we did a Forrest Gump trivia I was so nervous because I've only seen it once and Taylor has seen it probably more than I can count, but the funny thing was is I beat him in the game. hahaha.
After we got done eating dinner Taylor took me to see Cowboys and Aliens. To my surprise I actually really liked the movie, all action and no romance.......I'm totally kidding about that the whole movie was great it had enough of everything. After our movie we went to the Cheesecake Factory and had their AMAZING cheesecakes. But knowing me I couldn't finish it so we took it home so I could eat it later. We actually ended up throwing it away because we don't have a fridge in our hotel.

Well that's everything thing that's gone on so far I can't wait to finish the rest of this post once all the pictures are all on. I'll have Taylor get to work on that right now.

So it's back to school time and my mom, my sisters and I took a weekend off and went shopping in Mesula. We had such a great time I know I sound like a newly wed but I really missed my husband. But I did manage buy some cute tops for me and I found some really cute baby clothes for dirt cheap!!! No I'm not pregnant I just get baby clothes to put in my hope chest. We had a really fun time, I love being with my mom and my sisters.
When we got home I came home to a kindle sitting on my bed!!! Don't ask me why he did this but I absolutely love my kindle and of course my husband. He is so good to me I really don't know what I would do with out him. We have a Atkinson Family Reunion coming up in a couple of days and we are super excited for that we can hang out with them before we leave for California!!! We are also super excited for our trip also.

Happy 4th Of July

The 4th of July is probably one of my favorite holidays with all the fireworks, amazing food, and family I don't think I could spend it any other way. Taylor's Grandma and Grandpa bought everyone on the Romney side tickets to the Oakley Rodeo so Taylor and I left around 5ish on Saturday and got to the Ranch in Utah around 9:30ish and started partying with the family.
The next day we woke up around 8. Hannah's baby woke up so we played with little Emmit for a while on our inflatable bed. He is such a happy baby to be around you seriously can't help but not love that little boy. After every one else started to wake up we all ate breakfast and got ready for the day. Then we all got in the car and went on a drive up the mountain to see all the snow that was still up there. There was so much snow and to top it all off it was around 70 degrees, It was so beautiful up there.
After we got back we decided to go catch the horses and go for a ride around the East Bench. I haven't been on a horse in a while so it was nice getting to ride again especially with Taylor. He seemed to enjoy himself very much.  The next day was the 4th of July, we all woke up and went to the Kamas parade. I caught an otter pop!!! Then we took our little cousin Carson to the Jr. rodeo he was so cute he signed up for the chicken chase but when he saw that the other kids were a little bit faster he started to cry. It really breaks your heart when you see them start to cry, but then after he rode a sheep!!! he was so cute to watch.
Later that night we all went to the Oakley Rodeo it was so much fun out of everything that happened I think the one thing I'll never forget is this Latin lady yelled at me because I was apparently in her seat. hahah it was really funny. Taylor and I had such a great time being with our family we love them all very much and are so grateful for everything they have done for us.

Taylor's shirt says, "Keep Calm And Eat a Cupcake" and mine say's, "I Love Cupcakes." They're awesome. We've been trying to get them for months and they finally had some that we're not an XXL.
We are very excited for the 4th of July we are heading to Utah tomorrow to go to the Oakley Rodeo I will post more about our trip during the week.  HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!

Head Colds

It's summer and Taylor and I have spent this week with wonderful head colds. Uhhhhh the weather was awesome this week, it hasn't been like this for a while and I really didn't want to spend it inside but Taylor and I had fun even though we were sick. We basically had a movie marathon!!! We cuddled up in our bed and watched Sherlock Holmes, then later that night we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We didn't finish it but we still had fun watching it together.
You seriously can make any day a good day even if you are sick. Taylor makes every day not just a good day, but a special day. He walks into any room with a huge smile on his face and can make everyone laugh. He is my best friend and I thank God everyday that I have him. He is so special to me, I really don't know what I would do without him. I can't wait for all of our adventures that we'll endure together. I love my husband with all my heart.

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing fathers!!! So far It's been a great fathers day. Taylor and I had to speak in church today about our earthly fathers and our Heavenly Father. We both did great. Taylor came to church with two different kinds of shoes on his feet hahaha. Yeah I had to tell the ward it was hilarious.
Even though Taylor is not a father yet I still want to tell him HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!! I know we have little children waiting for us in heaven who are dying to meet us. And I want my babies in Heaven to know that when the time comes for them to come to Earth they will come to a loving mother and an amazing father, Who will love them so much. I can't wait to start a family with my husband and I know that our family will be together forever.
HAPPY FATHER'S  DAY TAYLOR, I LOVE YOU!!!

A Saturday at the Zoo

Today Taylor took me to the Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho Falls and we had such a great time!!! Neither of us had been to a zoo for a long time. There were so many animals to look at and a lot of screaming children to listen to. I think my favorite animal that I saw was probably the Lions even though they were sleeping it was still an exciting thing to see. The monkey's were pretty cool too, one liked to stick it's bum up against the window so we got to see a lot of him haha.

It's nice having a day where Taylor and I can just go out and do whatever we want and we don't have to worry about the little things. We can just have a good time doing the thing we love to do the most, be with each other.
Taylor is taking a drink in case you were wondering haha

The Best Day of My Life.... My Wedding day!!!

Taylor and I were sealed in the Rexburg Temple on October 15, 2010 It was an amazing day the sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
It was nice having all of our family here for our special day everything was so perfect. The theme of our wedding was peacock feathers!!! Everything was peacock the decorations, colors, even my bouquet had peacock feathers. Instead of having a wedding cake Taylor and I decided that we wanted to have cheesecake, my Grandma Atkinson decorated them for us, she put HUGE! flowers on the top of them and they looked amazing!
My brides maids were Taylor's sisters Megan and Hayley, and my sisters Paige and Tyra. My maids of honor were my older sister Kylie and my best friend Valerie. The groomsmen were my brother in law Chris and my little brother Kreed. And Taylor's Best Man was his brother Logan.
Our reception was amazing even though it lasted an hour longer than it should have I will never forget it. My mom did an incredible job at decorating the church gym. We wanted to have a shabby sheek look. We had tree's that had sparkling lights and cute little ornaments of Taylor and I that my mom made. Our reception desserts were fall cakes like pumpkin rolls and yummy things like that. I am so grateful for everything my mom did for Taylor and I for our wedding everything was so wonderful I hope that when my own kids get married I will be as creative and artistic as my mom. I love my family so much, without them my wedding wouldn't have been as amazing as it was.

The Proposal

I thought it would be a good idea to talk a little about how my wonderful husband proposed to me because it is a memory that I will never ever forget!!!
It happened on June 30, 2010. I was sitting at my kitchen table eating dinner with my family and someone rang the door bell so my mom went and answered it and brought back a big envelope and I asked her what it was so she brought it to me and on the front of it said, " TOP SECRET" so I opened it and saw that there was a tape recorder, belt buckle, a file folder and an airsoft gun. So I listened to the tape and it was Taylor's brother Logan's voice explaining that I was sent on a top secret mission to find Taylor so he had me go to special places from while we were dating.
The first place he sent me was the High School, then his old church, then the round about by Subway, then the Rexburg Temple, and the last place I had to go was on this hill that is right next to my house. So as I'm driving to the last spot it starts raining really really bad, like monsoon bad. In the mean-time Taylor had been looking for a good spot to wait for me. Apparently while looking he found a little friend...a porcupine! Good thing he didn't pick that spot.
So I had to walk to where Taylor was and when I found him he was soaked from head to toe, then he started telling me how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and as he was saying all of this he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said...... YES!!! Our engagement lasted for 3 months and can I just say those were the longest 3 months of my life but it was all worth it in the end. I love my husband so much and I am so grateful for the wonderful man he is I LOVE YOU TAYLOR!!!

My first post!!!

So I finally joined the blogging club and so far I'm stressed!!! I can't figure out this blogging thing yet but hopefully if I keep up with my posts I will get the hang of it soon.
Taylor and I decided that we are going to start going to his family ward. Today was our first day and we loved it! We have a meeting with our bishop on Tuesday to talk about our new callings in the ward! talk about your crazy stuff, one day in the ward and they're already talking about callings. I'm really excited about this new ward I felt really welcomed and the bishop gave me a fist pound so we're basically best friends now. hahaha.
I just realized that I probably need to say a few things about Taylor and I because that's what this blog is about.  Taylor and I we're sealed in the Rexburg Temple on October 15, 2010.  We've been married for almost 8 months and I don't think I've ever been more happier. He is my best friend I'm so glad I get to spend the rest of my life with him.
