Head Colds

It's summer and Taylor and I have spent this week with wonderful head colds. Uhhhhh the weather was awesome this week, it hasn't been like this for a while and I really didn't want to spend it inside but Taylor and I had fun even though we were sick. We basically had a movie marathon!!! We cuddled up in our bed and watched Sherlock Holmes, then later that night we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We didn't finish it but we still had fun watching it together.
You seriously can make any day a good day even if you are sick. Taylor makes every day not just a good day, but a special day. He walks into any room with a huge smile on his face and can make everyone laugh. He is my best friend and I thank God everyday that I have him. He is so special to me, I really don't know what I would do without him. I can't wait for all of our adventures that we'll endure together. I love my husband with all my heart.

Happy Fathers Day!!!

Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing fathers!!! So far It's been a great fathers day. Taylor and I had to speak in church today about our earthly fathers and our Heavenly Father. We both did great. Taylor came to church with two different kinds of shoes on his feet hahaha. Yeah I had to tell the ward it was hilarious.
Even though Taylor is not a father yet I still want to tell him HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!! I know we have little children waiting for us in heaven who are dying to meet us. And I want my babies in Heaven to know that when the time comes for them to come to Earth they will come to a loving mother and an amazing father, Who will love them so much. I can't wait to start a family with my husband and I know that our family will be together forever.
HAPPY FATHER'S  DAY TAYLOR, I LOVE YOU!!!

A Saturday at the Zoo

Today Taylor took me to the Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho Falls and we had such a great time!!! Neither of us had been to a zoo for a long time. There were so many animals to look at and a lot of screaming children to listen to. I think my favorite animal that I saw was probably the Lions even though they were sleeping it was still an exciting thing to see. The monkey's were pretty cool too, one liked to stick it's bum up against the window so we got to see a lot of him haha.

It's nice having a day where Taylor and I can just go out and do whatever we want and we don't have to worry about the little things. We can just have a good time doing the thing we love to do the most, be with each other.
Taylor is taking a drink in case you were wondering haha

The Best Day of My Life.... My Wedding day!!!

Taylor and I were sealed in the Rexburg Temple on October 15, 2010 It was an amazing day the sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.
It was nice having all of our family here for our special day everything was so perfect. The theme of our wedding was peacock feathers!!! Everything was peacock the decorations, colors, even my bouquet had peacock feathers. Instead of having a wedding cake Taylor and I decided that we wanted to have cheesecake, my Grandma Atkinson decorated them for us, she put HUGE! flowers on the top of them and they looked amazing!
My brides maids were Taylor's sisters Megan and Hayley, and my sisters Paige and Tyra. My maids of honor were my older sister Kylie and my best friend Valerie. The groomsmen were my brother in law Chris and my little brother Kreed. And Taylor's Best Man was his brother Logan.
Our reception was amazing even though it lasted an hour longer than it should have I will never forget it. My mom did an incredible job at decorating the church gym. We wanted to have a shabby sheek look. We had tree's that had sparkling lights and cute little ornaments of Taylor and I that my mom made. Our reception desserts were fall cakes like pumpkin rolls and yummy things like that. I am so grateful for everything my mom did for Taylor and I for our wedding everything was so wonderful I hope that when my own kids get married I will be as creative and artistic as my mom. I love my family so much, without them my wedding wouldn't have been as amazing as it was.

The Proposal

I thought it would be a good idea to talk a little about how my wonderful husband proposed to me because it is a memory that I will never ever forget!!!
It happened on June 30, 2010. I was sitting at my kitchen table eating dinner with my family and someone rang the door bell so my mom went and answered it and brought back a big envelope and I asked her what it was so she brought it to me and on the front of it said, " TOP SECRET" so I opened it and saw that there was a tape recorder, belt buckle, a file folder and an airsoft gun. So I listened to the tape and it was Taylor's brother Logan's voice explaining that I was sent on a top secret mission to find Taylor so he had me go to special places from while we were dating.
The first place he sent me was the High School, then his old church, then the round about by Subway, then the Rexburg Temple, and the last place I had to go was on this hill that is right next to my house. So as I'm driving to the last spot it starts raining really really bad, like monsoon bad. In the mean-time Taylor had been looking for a good spot to wait for me. Apparently while looking he found a little friend...a porcupine! Good thing he didn't pick that spot.
So I had to walk to where Taylor was and when I found him he was soaked from head to toe, then he started telling me how much he loved me and that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me and as he was saying all of this he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and I said...... YES!!! Our engagement lasted for 3 months and can I just say those were the longest 3 months of my life but it was all worth it in the end. I love my husband so much and I am so grateful for the wonderful man he is I LOVE YOU TAYLOR!!!

My first post!!!

So I finally joined the blogging club and so far I'm stressed!!! I can't figure out this blogging thing yet but hopefully if I keep up with my posts I will get the hang of it soon.
Taylor and I decided that we are going to start going to his family ward. Today was our first day and we loved it! We have a meeting with our bishop on Tuesday to talk about our new callings in the ward! talk about your crazy stuff, one day in the ward and they're already talking about callings. I'm really excited about this new ward I felt really welcomed and the bishop gave me a fist pound so we're basically best friends now. hahaha.
I just realized that I probably need to say a few things about Taylor and I because that's what this blog is about.  Taylor and I we're sealed in the Rexburg Temple on October 15, 2010.  We've been married for almost 8 months and I don't think I've ever been more happier. He is my best friend I'm so glad I get to spend the rest of my life with him.
