What a wonderful Christmas we had at the Romney home......Well I take that back, What a wonderful Christmas we had at the Crittenden/Romney home. This Christmas was a little different this year. We celebrated Christmas eve with my family, and Christmas day with Taylor's family. It's nice having both of our families so close by, it really does make holidays a little more easier on us.
On Christmas eve all of my mom's kids and son in laws spent the night at her house. as the kids went to bed my parents, Kylie and Chris, Taylor and I stayed up and helped stuff the stockings, put some presents out and prepared for tomorrows big Christmas breakfast. After all of that was done we stayed up and played Pass the Popcorn for awhile, then we all went to sleep before Santa came.
We all woke up around 8:30 Christmas morning to see that Santa came to the Crittenden home!!! From what I can remember Kylie got a Nook, Chris got a bike stand, Taylor got a camera bag, I got a wedding book made by my husband, Paige got a Brad Paisley cd, Tyra got furry boots and Kreed got some games for the Wii. Our dad also surprised everyone with a home made ping pong table!!! Yeah he actually made the table I couldn't believe how amazing it looked.
It was so nice to be with my family for as long as we were. After we got done with doing things with them we went over to the Romney's house and opened presents with them. It's funny how different our families really are. I'm pretty sure Taylor's family received more political books or presidential books than I can count hahaha. But that's what they love and I love that about them.
We got to Skype Taylor's brother who is serving his mission in California that day. It was so nice that we were able to see and hear him at the same time.
I love my family so much, I can't believe how fast this Christmas has come and gone and now a new year is among us, I have so much new years resolution that I want to work on for this new year, It's going to be a challenge but I'm always up for new challenges. Thank you everyone who made this Christmas an amazing one. We love and appreciate everyone who dropped by a gift or who sent us a card. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

After family pictures everyone came back to my house and Taylor made his world famous sweet and sour chicken and rice. Everyone loved it My man is such a good cook. Kylie brought dessert it was called how high apple pie i think? It was amazing!!! After food dad opened his presents mom and the kids gave him a piggy bank, a tie and orange sticks. Kylie and Chris gave him a roll of quarters, a John Bytheway cd and some more orange sticks. Taylor and I got him some new slippers and tons of Millhollow coupons.
I think he had a very happy birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! Your family loves you so much. We wouldn't be who we are today if it wasn't for you and mom. You two are so special to us and we want nothing more than to make you both proud. I love you dad happy birthday.

Rewind......
Okay so I have been slacking in the blogging lately and I really need to do better with that, so lets see how well I can keep up with blogging from here on out.
My cousin Staci was Married last Friday to her husband Jared and we are so happy for those two!!! She had a beautiful wedding, I cried more at hers than I did at my own. Her theme was a "Winter Wonderland" It was so beautiful, her colors were dark blue, white and silver. They had trees with twinkling lights up with snow around them, It's really hard to describe I will post pictures soon so everyone can see how amazing it was.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went to my Grandma and Grandpa Atkinsons famous Thanksgiving dinner. I've never left their house disappointed, my Grandma always makes the best of everything. My favorite part about going to my grandmas house for Thanksgiving dinner is she makes me my own little personal pumpkin pie!!! My grandma is so special to me, she has made my pumpkin pie for me ever since I can remember, It always makes me feel so special and loved whenever she does that for me because she only does it for me, no one else.
Taylor is just finishing up school and I'm so ready for the break. I feel like I never see him because he is always in the "Man Cave" doing his homework and I'm ready for some date nights and our special movie nights with popcorn and smoothies. SIGH! I know me time is always good to have but I feel like I've had way to much me time, I'm ready for some we time.
We are so excited for Christmas I can't wait for Taylor to open the presents I got for him. I noticed a present under the tree with my name on it and I am dying to see what it is. I love Christmas!!! The music, smells, food, presents, being with family, snow....... Oh wait that hasn't happened yet hopefully soon. I really am not a snow person but it is freezing in Rexburg and I personally think that if it's going to be this cold then it might as well snow. We get to spend Christmas with Taylor's parents this year and I am so excited!!! His brother Logan who is in California on his mission gets to call us so that will be really exciting to be able to hear from him.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas this year and a happy new year. I have a lot I want to do so hopefully everything will work out just fine.
